**Summary**

Under general supervision, **Purchasing Clerk** performs general clerical work in support of Procurement process.

**Responsibilities**

+ Prepare and solicit bids, requests for proposal (RFP), purchase orders and change orders regardless of dollar value, covering equipment, material and services for single or multiple sites.
+ WIth approval of the Site Manager, execute purchase orders and credit card transactions of up to $5,000, expedite delivery of material, and handle various aspects of simple to complex procurement activities.
+ Interact with various departments, ensuring all necessary materials and services are procured to support site needs.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**

+ Ability to type and operate various office machines.
+ Working knowledge of computer software.
