Overview

To source for better price for purchasing of various construction materials/tools/rental machineries/equipment for the project.

Responsibilities

• Source for better prices for purchasing construction materials, tools, rental machinery, and equipment for the project.
• Process Requisition Forms by liaising with requesters and process Purchase Orders in a timely manner after due negotiation with suppliers for approval from the Project Management for official order placement. Also liaise with Construction Managers, Site Engineers, QSs and QA/QC if necessary.
• Prepare the Quotation Cost Comparison (QCC) for the required items and negotiate discounts as appropriate.
• Maintain purchased records in an organized manner and provide Purchasing monthly reports for all Purchase Orders for management review.
• Monitor delivery status and update the requester on site or in store; follow up with suppliers for timely delivery.
