Job Summary
Udhayam Group of Companies is looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior FMCG Purchase Manager to lead the procurement function for our hypermarket operations. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in FMCG purchasing, vendor management, inventory planning, and category buying with a proven track record of achieving cost savings and ensuring product availability.
Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement & Purchasing
Handle end-to-end procurement of FMCG products.
Develop annual and monthly purchase plans based on sales forecasts.
Ensure optimum stock availability while minimizing excess inventory.
Generate and approve Purchase Orders (POs).
Monitor daily purchase requirements from stores and warehouses.
Coordinate with department heads to understand purchasing needs.
Vendor Management
Identify, evaluate, and appoint new suppliers and distributors.
Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors.
