Job Description
Responsibilities
- Assist in sourcing and evaluating suppliers to ensure quality and cost‑effectiveness.
- Conduct thorough market research on potential vendors.
- Manage purchase orders by tracking progress from initiation to delivery, ensuring timely fulfillment of inventory needs.
- Collaborate closely with the finance department to verify pricing and address discrepancies in invoices and payments.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, suppliers, and inventory levels to support effective stock management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement or purchasing roles, demonstrating a solid understanding of purchasing processes.
- Experience in the health care industry for understanding sector‑specific purchasing dynamics.
