Job Description
The Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach serves as a key member of the men’s basketball program and assists the Head Coach in all aspects of operating a successful NCAA Division II program. Responsibilities include recruiting, player development, academic monitoring, game preparation, practice planning, scouting, compliance, and administrative duties while supporting the mission and values of the institution and the athletic department.
Essential Job Functions
- Assist the Head Coach with daily operations of the men’s basketball program.
- Coach and supervise the program’s developmental/junior varsity team, including practices, skill instruction, game management, and player evaluations.
- Conduct individual and group skill development workouts.
