Job Description

PositionĀ Summary:


The Prototype Machinist will be responsible for machining precision components for engine prototypes and test fixtures. This role requires strong CNC programming and machining experience, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast paced R&D environment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, self-driven, and comfortable working with both CNC and manual equipment.


KeyĀ Responsibilities:

  • Program,Ā setĀ up,Ā andĀ operateĀ CNCĀ millingĀ machinesĀ andĀ lathes,Ā withĀ anĀ emphasisĀ onĀ multi-axisĀ milling.

  • UtilizeĀ HaasĀ andĀ FanucĀ controlsĀ toĀ executeĀ complexĀ machiningĀ operations.

  • CreateĀ andĀ optimizeĀ machiningĀ programsĀ usingĀ MasterCamĀ (preferred).

  • ProduceĀ high-precisionĀ prototypeĀ componentsĀ fromĀ engineeringĀ drawings,Ā 3DĀ models,Ā andĀ sketches.

  • InspectĀ partsĀ toĀ ensureĀ dimensionalĀ accuracyĀ andĀ qualityĀ standardsĀ areĀ met.
