Entry-Level Electrical Design Engineer
Role Overview
We are seeking an entry-level Protection & Control Design Engineer to support diverse transmission, generation, and distribution projects. In this role, you will work both independently and collaboratively on protection, control, and physical design projects, ranging from greenfield substations to retrofits of existing installations.
Key Responsibilities
- System Protection & Control Design: Develop and ensure quality control for substation system layouts, including one-line and three-line diagrams, AC/DC schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and bills of materials.
- Physical Layout & Calculations: Design substation physical layouts, including electrical plans, profiles, grounding systems, and conduit/raceway plans. Perform necessary calculations for voltage drop, conduit fill, and brea...
