Responsibilities

Under the direction of the District Manager, the Property Manager ensures the effective management of assigned Manitoba Housing properties and is responsible and accountable for all property‑management functions and activities within their assigned building(s). Duties include maintaining buildings and grounds, leasing, vacancy management, tenant relations, and effective communication between tenants and other Manitoba Housing areas. All duties are carried out in accordance with Manitoba Housing policies, procedures and guidelines, the Residential Tenancies Act, and the Residential Tenancies Branch.

Qualifications

• Experience in facility management, including coordination of maintenance and repair work, creating scopes of work, ground maintenance, and unit/building inspections.
• Ability to interpret, communicate and apply acts, regulations, policies and procedures including the Residential Tenancies Act.
