Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Property Accountant to manage the financial activities of a real estate portfolio. The ideal candidate has strong accounting knowledge, experience with property management accounting, and the ability to maintain accurate financial records and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day property accounting functions for assigned properties.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and journal entries.
- Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Monitor rent collections, tenant charges, and owner distributions.
