Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and direct ship repair, construction and conversion projects.

  • Conduct and lead the daily VSCC meetings. Manage all hot-works, painting and incompatible jobs onboard to ensure safety of personnel and property are not endangered.

  • Meet repairs / refit schedules by planning, and closely monitoring projects’ critical paths. 

  • Project man hour monitoring and cost control to ensure intended project GP margins are achieved.

  • Develop good working relationship with customers and maintaining a teamwork showing high interests.

  • Solve daily conflicts at ground level by monitoring and coordinating sequential and incompatible jobs affecting the master schedule.

  • Closely liaise with classification societies, ship owners, owner specialist engineers, vessel crew...
