Job Description
Overview
Project Manager – Civil Engineering based in Crawley for a Regional Civil Engineering Contractor. Manage a variety of Civil Engineering schemes across the UK with values up to £30m. You will be part of the management team, reporting to the Regional Director and overseeing site teams including Agents, Sub Agents, Engineers, Foremen and Sub Contractors.
Responsibilities
- To profitably complete projects in accordance with the client’s specifications and to ensure client satisfaction.
- Plan resources and resolve shortfalls or over-re sourcing issues in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Coordinate and manage interfaces with other parts of the division.
- Ensure all personnel under your control, including subcontractors, work in accordance with company policies, are trained, competent, aware, and work safely.
- Jointly prepare project Cost Value Reports & Contract Status Reports with commercial staff.
