Job Description
Prepare, review and submit accurate cost estimates and proposals in a timely manner
Understand scope of work to bid as well as contractual terms and obligations
Prepare clear and detailed take offs from architectural drawings
Prepare detailed scope of work
Manage bid pricing from vendors
Establish and maintain working relationships with vendors and subcontractors
Work closely with internal operations
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in construction estimating
Experience reading architectural plans and developing cost estimates
Experience with MERX, WCA updates and tender postings
Intermediate to advanced skills with Quick Bid, Microsoft Excel and Word
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
