## The group you’ll be a part of Lam Research established its global center in Bangalore to expand access to India’s engineering talent. Over the past decade, the center has broadened its scope beyond engineering to include global manufacturing, supply chain operations, and shared services. One of its major functional groups is LIGHT (Lam India Global Hardware Technology), where mechanical engineers, simulation analysts, electrical engineers, manufacturing engineers, and engineering support teams collaborate to design and develop subassemblies and subsystems for Lam’s next-generation products. LIGHT has grown into a key new product development and sustaining engineering organization within Lam’s global engineering footprint.
