Job Description
Overview
Project Engineer (HVAC) — Up to $5,000. Roles include heat load calculation and design for heat transfer and refrigeration applications, equipment selection, and project coordination to support HVAC projects.
Responsibilities- Perform heat load calculations and design for chiller, freezer, and refrigeration applications.
- Select refrigeration equipment including compressors, condensing units, evaporators, and controls.
- Prepare technical documentation such as technical submittals, equipment schedules, and design reports.
- Prepare 2D drawings, 3D refrigeration rack assembly drawings, and P&ID.
- Coordinate refrigeration rack fabrication, piping, control panel requirements, and installation details.
- Coordinate evaporator design and related technical requirements.
- Liaise with suppliers, consultants, contractors, customers, and internal teams to support project execution.
