Job Description
The Project Engineer supports senior project staff in managing daily construction operations.
This role assists with cost coding, procurement of materials, coordination and oversight of assigned personnel, and tracking labor productivity.
The Project Engineer also supports schedule development and review, processes change orders, and performs additional duties as required to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities Inspect construction methods and workmanship to ensure roadways, bridges, and related highway structures are built in accordance with approved plans and specifications.Participate in and contribute to jobsite meetings.Assist with cost coding and budget tracking.Coordinate and order project materials and supplies.Support the preparation and processing of change orders.Assist with project scheduling and progress tracking.Perform other related duties as assigned.
