Job Description
A growing plastics manufacturer in Kentucky is looking for a Project Engineer to manage tooling and launch activities for new and existing injection-molded products. This role is a great fit for an engineer who enjoys owning projects from concept through production and coordinating across customers, tooling suppliers, and internal teams.
Primary Duties
- Lead engineering projects for new plastic parts, molds, and tooling modifications from kick-off through PPAP and production handoff.
- Coordinate design for manufacturability (DFM) reviews with customers and tooling vendors for injection-molded components.
- Create and manage project timelines, open issues lists, and status updates for internal and external stakeholders.
