Job Description
Report directly to the Client Engineering Department, contributing to the successful delivery of technical deliverables;
Be a technical lead within the Submarine/Marine Refit project, primarily focusing on supporting both electrical and electronic systems.
Draft, review, and approve repair specifications for maintenance activities
Provide mentoring, professional oversight and on-job-training for a team of engineers (in-training or otherwise) and technologists.
Assess, document and communicate risks associated with marine electrical alternating current systems and power distribution control systems.
Assess, document, and communicate risks associated with submarine mission systems such as: Above Water Sensors, Sonar, Command and Control, Navigation, and Communication.
Be responsive to Program and Project Managers for dynamic program delivery requirements in a dockyard environment
