Project Engineer – Bulk Materials Handling

Minimum Qualifications BEng, BSc or BTech in Mechanical Engineering. Diploma in Design and Operations of Belt Conveyors or Belt Conveying of Bulk Solids. Bulk Transfer Chute Design and Modelling Certification. Professional registration with ECSA as a Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng . Experience & Competencies Minimum 8 years' experience in Bulk Materials Handling engineering within the mining, industrial or energy sectors. Proven experience on EPC, EPCM and Lump Sum Turnkey projects. Experience in feasibility studies, FEED, detailed engineering and project execution. Strong experience in the design of: Belt conveyor systems Transfer chutes Crushers, screens and feeders Bins, hoppers, stockyards, stackers and reclaimers Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering projects and coordinating technical interfaces.
