Commodity Buyer – Part Time

Morson Edge are seeking a Commodity Buyer to work on behalf of our aerospace client on a part‑time basis.

Location: Remote with occasional travel to Bristol

Hours: 1.5 days per week (most likely split into 3 half‑day sessions to provide sufficient responsiveness to project demands)

Duration: Until December 2026

Responsibilities

• Purchase orders (PO) for Non‑Routine Task Authorisation Forms (TAFs)
• Orderbook management
• Support to the Procurement Integrated Project Team (IPT) Lead
• Invoicing queries and PO updates
• Export data review
• Low‑value procurements – SAP PO / RBS / Corporate Purchasing Card (CPC)
• Supplier approvals and maintenance of the supply base Quality Management Systems (QMS)
• Sourcing and tendering
• Trade compliance and export control provenance/investigation of export constraints
