Job Description
Project Accounting Manager
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, this role is located at the Port Hope, ON site and is responsible for leadership of project accounting for the Industrial East division. The role ensures compliance, accuracy, and efficient financial management across construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of project accountants.
- Account for financial management of projects, including gross profit, project % complete forecasting, WIP, revenue recognition, and backlog.
- Oversee cost management activities such as cost reconciliation, analysis, and control measures.
- Guide and improve processes for cost‑reimbursable billings and resolve billing discrepancies to expedite revisions.
- Review and input on project‑level cash flow forecasting, KPI tracking, and profit performance.
