SUMMARY
The Program Operations Director (POD) oversees, coordinates and enhances the logistics, processes, and systems that support national and local events, especially the annual National Ride. This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring operational expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to manage complex logistics involving many program participants (missionaries), volunteers, and partners. A successful POD is a detail-oriented, effective problem-solver, capable of managing multiple projects while improving internal operations and supporting strategic initiatives.
