Position Overview:

Through its Gender Equality Portfolio (GEGEP), Room to Read engages with school-going adolescent girls from economically disadvantaged communities and vulnerable backgrounds to ensure that they complete secondary school and have the skills to negotiate key life decisions. GEP is operational in 8 States of India, namely, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Telangana.  Room to Read envisions a world in which all children, can pursue quality education that prepares them to make positive change – in their families, schools and communities.
