Program Buyer Job Summary: Supervises program buyers responsible to successfully launch programs; secures competitive bids for new sourcing nomination based on defined bidder lists, Costing and negotiation skill. Ensures close communication between Global Purchasing Commodity teams, business unit, program management, application engineering and manufacturing. NPIS participation; daily ECM delegation; aligns tooling payment terms, material and logistics protocol, risk assessment and manufacturability reviews.
