Summary The Program Analyst provides advanced administrative, analytic, and application coordination support for Surgical Service. This includes personnel administration, data analysis and reporting, and special projects assigned by the Administrative Officer and Business Manager. Responsible for data analysis and reporting using VA systems and space/equipment planning and procurement. Makes recommendations to modify procedures and practices to improve the effectiveness of Surgical Service operations. Responsibilities Duties include: Compiles data into PowerPoint presentations to be reviewed by higher level management and clinical teams. Responsible for training surgical service staff in the use of analytical software applications including VSSC (VHA Support Services Center), Pyramid Analytics, Consult Management Tracker, LEAF (Light Electronic Action Framework), Power by app, Clinic Practice Management Dashboard, to ensure competency and compliance with facility standards.
