Job Description
**Primary Care Coder (Radiology/Lab)**
**This is coding for an Oncology Group in California and specifically focused on Radiology and Lab coding where coders will need to validate diagnosis coding. There may be some CPT coding and possibly some abstract coding but majority is validation.**
**Requirements/Expectations:**
· **AHIMA/AAPC certification with 2+ years experience**
· **Strong Radiology and Lab coding experience (2+ years)**
· **Experience in a specific Oncology Group Setting – Highly Preferred**
· **Athena IDX and OncoMed EMR experience – Highly Preferred**
· **Production – Approximately 150/day**
· **High Producer and quick learner**
· **PST training schedule for first week (between 7am-5pm PST)**
· **Ongoing schedule is Mon-Fri between 5am-6pm PST**
· **CA coding guidelines experience – Ideal but not required**
