About the role
Join our Dynex team in Avondale as a Production Tooling Engineer. You will support our Extrusions and Materials Manufacturing operations by maintaining and repairing production tooling, ensuring readiness, minimizing downtime, and contributing to safe, efficient, and high‑quality manufacturing outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, clean, and prepare tooling in line with production schedules to maintain uninterrupted operations and minimize downtime.
- Perform tooling repairs and maintenance using manual machining equipment, including surface grinders.
- Monitor daily production and tooling maintenance requirements to ensure tooling availability and optimal performance.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized toolroom while accurately tracking all incoming and outgoing tooling components.
