- Assists the Production Manager in the day-to-day operations of the production lines under his charge.
- Plans and coordinates the work flow on the production lines to achieve production targets according to agreed schedules and quality standards.
- Draws up duty roster for operatives, allocating work, overtime planning and arranging replacements for absentees.
- Troubleshoots production problems which may arise and assisting the Production Manager in planning new project work.
- Trains, motivates and guides his subordinates, maintains discipline among the operatives, and provides input to their performance appraisals.
- Safety Management: Execute safety measures.
