Overview

onsemi is seeking a self-driven and motivated professional to join the Production Planning team. This role aims to provide an executable production schedule that aligns demand and supply. The Production Planner/Scheduler must have a deep understanding of factory capacity, routes, and BOMs to effectively schedule loading. The role is an individual contributor position in a challenging environment that offers growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Execute production plans from the global master planning system, considering declared capacity and establishing schedule priorities.
• Monitor actual starts vs. plan and actual output vs. target.
• Handle urgent deliveries and address issues that may affect commitments to customers.
• Communicate with operations, production control clerks, shipping, other support departments, and tactical planners to minimize delinquency and maximize on-time delivery.
