About the role
Nyrstar Hobart currently has full time operator and trainee operator vacancies available in various departments across our plant. These positions are part of production teams focused on safely and consistently achieving production targets whilst developing strong working relationships with operations and maintenance personnel. We are looking for reliable, ambitious people who are motivated to develop into future operators of the organisation.
Reporting to a Production Team Leader, the successful applicants will be responsible for the safe and effective day to day operation of plant and equipment, to safely and consistently achieve production targets.
These roles are an integral part of our Production Teams and undertake a 12-hour shift work on a 2 day, 2 night and 4 off rotating roster pattern
