Responsibilities

• Safely, productively, and collaboratively perform material handling, operating equipment, cleaning and basic maintenance, and site preparation to support finishing line operations.
• Perform all duties safely, maintaining housekeeping and handling flammable liquids and gases.
• Operate equipment in the rework area such as cutting torches, grinders, overhead cranes, conveyors, and scales to support efficient operation of the finishing line.
• Measure and weigh pipe sections, ensuring accurate capture by the computer system.
• Stencil or write appropriate information at the pipe ends as required.
• Operate remote‑controlled overhead crane to reposition sections in the line, remove scrap pipe sections, empty scrap buckets, and assist in changeovers.
• Assist in required maintenance and repairs of all associated finishing line equipment.
