Job Description

Classification: Non-Exempt

Reports to: Production Supervisor

The purpose of this position is to process and assign a value to all Miscel (miscellaneous) items and then roll to the sales floor and merchandise appropriately in the department.

Responsibilities and duties:

  • Inspects donated items to determine if they are sellable
  • Trashes or recycles items that are not deemed sellable
  • Uses condition and quality assessments to assign a value
  • Creates a price tag in the tablet system based upon quality, condition, brand, seasonality and trends
  • Rolls items from the production room to the sales floor multiple times daily
  • Maintains a clean and organized work station
  • Regularly meets the production goals of the position as outlined by the company
  • Follows all safety guidelines and procedures
  • Provides friendly and courteous service in all interactions with customers
