Job Description
Responsibilities
- Manage the overall production operation, ensure all activities are carried out in a safe, compliant and efficient manner, meeting all quality requirements. Support and execute Maintenance, TAR and project activities.
- Lead, mentor and develop the team leaders. The Production Manager maintains and further develops the open communication with plant personnel by e.g. regularly scheduling meetings with the plants’ Shift Team Leaders. The Production Manager acts as moderator or consultant whenever needed. In addition he/she ensures open communication among all technicians in order to improve safety and efficiency within production.
- Support training of all team members. The Production Manager identifies training needs for the whole production team, based on the performance appraisals, monitoring during work hours and in collaboration with the Training Specialist.
