Summary About the Position: Production Machinery Repairer applies a working knowledge of the mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic operating characteristics of a variety of equipment and machinery. Responsibilities Assist journeyman level mechanics with the installation, repair, maintaining, and adjusting of fixed and semi-fixed equipment and machinery. Use various portable machines and hand tools to repair and install equipment and machinery. Bolt down parts and accessories to foundations, install, and repair foundations for operating machinery, and connect the steam lines, hydraulic lines, air hose couplings, fuel lines, lubrication systems, and any other power source prior to operation. Use a variety of test equipment and measuring devices for troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment and machinery.
