**Job Title: Production Expeditor**
**Job Description**
The Production Expeditor ensures that production jobs move efficiently through the shop floor by coordinating between departments, resolving constraints, and accelerating work-in-process so that delivery commitments are consistently met.
**Responsibilities**
+ Move parts through the shop floor according to job operations as they are completed, ensuring smooth flow between work centers.
+ Promptly record completed operations in the ERP system and verify that each step is properly stamped off in the traveler.
+ Actively expedite jobs that are delayed due to material shortages, labor constraints, tooling issues, or quality concerns.
+ Coordinate production priorities with supervisors and planners to align daily activities with overall production schedules.
+ Communicate clear and timely job status updates to the Production Control Planning team.
