- Receives job kits which include the components, assembly drawing, bill of material (BOM) and work instructions.
- May be assigned any or all process steps in the assembly of the item.
- Inspects for completeness by matching components and component quantity for assigned process step with job paperwork.
- Checks requirements for required tools and fixtures.
- Review drawing notes and reviews any special instructions that need to be addressed.
- Follows work instructions according to assembly drawing and assigned process steps from Production Manager.
- Assembles packs with processes that may include but not limited to; gluing, soldering, taping, crimping pins, applying labels, checking voltages and checking battery pack dimensions.
