Job Description
Organic Producer Certification Specialist
Pro-Cert Organic Systems Ltd. (Pro-Cert) is searching for an additional Certification Specialist for Organic Production compliance assessment. The successful candidate will facilitate organic certification to both new and existing clients under the Canada Organic Regime (COR) and the USDA National Organic Program (NOP). This is a full‑time position, preferably based at Pro-Cert’s Head Office near Saskatoon, SK, Canada, but remote work arrangements are also possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Pro-Cert’s Certification Coordinators and Managers in the annual certification cycle of organic (and other) producers.
- Evaluate organic production system plans for compliance.
- Complete evaluation checklists and related documents.
- Conduct mass balance and traceability audits of organic inventories.
- Investigate violations and complaints.
