Overview
What will you do?
Supports the Supply Chain Function by: receiving procurement requirements from Logistics in spreadsheet format with requirements to include materials and services. Applies understanding of the purchasing process, responsibilities and ethical standards for the procurement of those materials and services. Follows FAR/DFARS guidelines to process, evaluate and execute purchasing actions. Supports the operations function by: Analyzing the requirements of the commodity, including preliminary specifications, preferred supplier, and date commodity is needed, obtaining best value, expediting and providing timely project closeout.
