Job Summary
Responsible for UCB Japan's purchasing activities, especially indirect procurement operations.
Major Accountabilities/Responsibilities
Lead or support the day-to-day operations of Source to Pay (S2P) as the first tier of contact for both suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Implement, apply and ensure compliance with purchasing processes (both transactional and procurement processes) based on current and future UCB Global Purchasing Principles and Guidelines, considering relevant country-specific commercial, statutory and tax laws.
Develop country procurement plans based on the procurement strategies defined by the Global Category Manager, optimize cost effectiveness and negotiate local purchasing agreements in line with country-specific business, legal and financial requirements.
