Job Description
A Technical Purchaser in a telecom company isresponsible for the strategic sourcing, evaluation, and procurement of specialized telecommunications equipment, materials, and services. This role requires a blend of technical expertise to understand complex specifications and strong commercial acumen for negotiation and vendor management.
Key Responsibilities
- Sourcing and Procurement: Manage the end-to-end sourcing process for materials, components, and services, ensuring alignment with project and technical requirements.
- Technical Evaluation: Evaluate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical specifications (e.g., engineering drawings, datasheets) to ensure compliance with quality, performance, and safety standards.
