Process/Assembly Technician (Industrial Engineering Department)

Job Description

• Perform assembly and process tasks according to approved work instructions, drawings, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot assembly tools, jigs, fixtures, and production equipment.
• Support new process introductions, line setup, process changes, and pilot runs.
• Assist in time studies, work measurement, and process validation activities.
• Support Industrial Engineers in lean initiatives, productivity improvement, and waste reduction (e.g. Kaizen, line balancing).
• Provide feedback on assembly methods and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and ergonomics.
• Assist in implementing standardized work and best practices across production lines.
• Maintain accurate records of process parameters, output, and issues encountered.
