Process Technician – Chrome
Reporting to the Plating & Processing Supervisor, the Process Technician – Chrome will be involved in the chrome plating of aircraft components at Collins Aerospace, located in Oakville, Canada.
Job Details
Shift: Afternoon (Mon – Thu, 4:00pm – 2:00am)
Role Type: Onsite
Responsibilities
- Chrome plating of aircraft components to customer specifications.
- Preparation of components and development of work techniques for plating.
- Part masking and part fixturing, loading and unloading.
- Tank/chemistry maintenance and associated tooling.
- Act as a cross‑functional team member and support other plating applications as requested.
- Participate in lean initiatives (5S, TPM, process improvement teams).
- Communicate and coordinate priorities and process issues between operators and shifts.
- Observe and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
