Job Description
To provide chemical and process engineering expertise to the Paper Machine 6 team by encompassing all aspects of plant modifications, process changes, design improvements, optimisations, control philosophy updates, trials, and major troubleshooting initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
PROCESS STANDARDS AND DOCUMENTATION
Adheres to all the standards and documentation of the process engineering discipline. The following documents are combined in the work procedures for process engineers:
Drawing standards for blockdiagrams and P&ID's.
Standards for investigation, design and evaluation reports.
Hazop study checklists.
Hot and live commissioning procedures.
Isolation, installation, de-isolation and commissioning sequence procedures.
PROJECT EXECUTION
Performs initial technical investigation and problem solving
Consults with production, maintenance personnel
Compiles feasibility studies.
Compiles Mass and energy balances.
