Process Engineer (P&IDs / Water Systems) – Contract-to-Hire
I’m working with an engineering team that’s focused on advanced water and ultrapure water systems—supporting projects that directly impact how critical industries manage and optimize water use.
They’re looking for a senior-level Process Engineer who can own P&IDs and process design from concept through startup. This is a hands-on role where you’ll drive mass balances, system sizing, and full process design for complex treatment and purification systems.
What you’d be doing:
+ Lead process design + P&IDs for water/UPW systems
+ Develop PFDs, mass balances, and process calculations
+ Size and select equipment (RO, IX/EDI, filtration, etc.)
+ Collaborate across mechanical, electrical, and controls teams
+ Support technical discussions, vendor selection, and system startup
