Description
- Perform engineering calculations to select and size equipment for manufacturing
- Lead process transfer from lab scale to plant operations
- Apply chemistry knowledge to evaluate reactions, equipment needs, and process risks
- Use Aspen or similar modeling software for simulations and process design
- Develop and maintain process documentation (chem plates, SOPs, procedures)
- Support validation activities for equipment and processes
- Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
- Assist with upcoming expansion projects: writing procedures, defining control specifications, validating equipment
- Support new customer processes: documentation, operator training, and manufacturing readiness
- Ensure compliance with GMP, safety standards, and quality expectations
