About the Position
The Prior Learning Specialist responds to diverse requests regarding recognition of prior learning from other post-secondary institutions to Lethbridge College. Knowledge of Lethbridge College programs as well as the requesting institution’s programs is essential. The incumbent will be responsible for evaluating course outlines from other institutions to determine equivalencies at Lethbridge College. The incumbent also fulfills the role of the Alberta Council of Admissions and Transfer Contact Persons’ Assistant to facilitate agreements with other ACAT institutions. In addition, this person will support the development of articulation agreements across Canada as well as internationally.
