Jyvaskyla Sinfonia is seeking a Principal Horn for a full-time position. The orchestra, known for its diverse programming, performs approximately 150 events annually and reaches around 40,000 listeners. The role includes performing in the orchestra as well as engaging in audience outreach through smaller ensembles. The audition is scheduled for August 25, 2026, at 1 PM in the Encore Hall of Jyvaskyla Sinfonia. Applicants will perform specific pieces by W. A. Mozart and R. Strauss, and will receive a list of orchestra excerpts via email after applying. An accompanist will be provided during the audition, which may also include an interview. The position offers a salary of 3,444.22 euros, with potential bonuses, and is governed by national collective bargaining agreements.
