Job Description
Position Summary
Independently develop electrical power and automation design in compliance with class rules and technical specifications, ensuring delivery within assigned project schedules.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design, review, and integration of marine electrical power systems, automation systems, and navigation/communication systems for assigned projects.
- Perform and review technical studies including short‑circuit analysis, harmonic analysis, discrimination studies, protection coordination, and FMEA.
- Develop and review key engineering deliverables such as:
- Single line diagrams (SLDs)
- Control system topologies
- Load analysis and load‑balancing reports
- Voltage drop calculations
- Lux (illumination) calculations
- Technical specifications for equipment procurement aligned with project requirements and classification society rules
