Responsibilities
- As a Principal Engineer at Viaplay, you will be contributing hands‑on by engineering scalable and resilient back‑end systems in Node.Js and Rust running in AWS, as well as driving the overall technical vision and direction of our platform
- In your role, you will ensure we develop the platform to meet the challenges of a continuously evolving product, developing strategies to battle complexity and ensuring efficiency
- With your passion for technical leadership and willingness to act as role model for others, you will be an advocate for the developer community and a mentor to engineers within your domain
- You will join an autonomous metrics driven team of experts to deliver engineering solutions aligned with long‑term technical and product visions
