Job Description
Principal Embedded Software Engineer - Southampton
This is a Principal Embedded Software Engineering role focusing on processor design and communication interfaces. The role will be primarily onsite in Southampton.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Mathematics, Physics or a related field
- 10+ years of commercial embedded software experience
- Excellent firmware RTOS experience
- Solid commercial serial communication experience (RS232, RS422, TCP/IP, etc.)
- Experience with embedded code testing is highly desirable
Salary: £70,000‑£80,000 depending on experience. An excellent benefits package is offered.
