Job Description
Press Technician position will be located in our new core plant in Whitehall, MI. This is an off-shift role: 2nd, 3rd or weekend shift. Primary responsibilities will include:
+ Troubleshoot and problem solve forming issues at the press
+ Manage die/gauge storage area
+ Aids in implementing continuous improvements and is a valuable link in the cell help chain.
+ Check overall quality of core jobs
+ Enter data into computer if applicable
+ Good understanding of PLC controlled presses
+ Good understanding of forming ceramics
+ Assists production planning in press/die compatibility
+ Review dies to verify conformity/functionality pior to setup
+ Notify supervisor or injection specialist of any die problems that may affect schedule
+ Troubleshoot forming issues
+ Assist in training and development of new set up techs and press operators
+ Review and update coating inspectio...
